We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious, and we especially enjoyed soaking in the public onsen with stunning views of the snowy hill nearby. The breakfast selection was yummy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Reserving a shuttle made transportation to this location easy.
Nothing, no complaints at all.

We had an amazing romantic escape! We loved the hot springs and the beautiful view from our room. the dinner and breakfast were both tasty and had a good variety of dishes to choose from. the hotel location was perfect; we were able to easily explore the surrounding area. the shuttle service to and from the hotel was very convenient.
The wifi in the room was not very reliable and we didn't have many options for entertainment. the room decor was somewhat outdated and could use some modern touches.

The luxurious amenities here are top-notch! the VIP room was spacious with exclusive facilities, including a private hot spring bath and exquisite bar area. the massage service was excellent, and the sauna was perfect for unwinding after a long day.
The location was a bit far from the city, and it took a while to get anywhere. Although the service was impeccable, billing was slow at checkout.

Nice view, great hot tub. The view from the room was beautiful and the outdoor hot tub was a highlight of the trip. This hotel is also located close to the town center which made it easy to explore.
Staff unhelpful, bad food. The food was not good and the staff seemed uninterested in helping us.

I was amazed by the excellent service I received during my stay at Jozankei. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and even prepared a bassinet for my infant without me asking. It really showed their dedication to providing the best customer service. The Japanese style room with a private onsen was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I enjoyed relaxing in the onsen and the green tea and snacks provided in the room were a nice touch. The traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast at restaurant Sho-an were delicious. I had a wonderful and unforgettable experience at Jozankei and would definitely recommend it.

the room and bathroom were spacious and well equipped, and the staff was courteous and attentive to our needs. the breakfast was excellent, and the lounge area with snacks was a nice touch. it was a clear and accommodating experience that we would recommend for a luxurious and relaxing stay.
The dinner restaurant was not conveniently located, and we had to go through the trouble of dressing in proper snow gear to go there in a heavy snowstorm.
